Booking & Reservations

Q: How can I book a stay?
A: You can book directly through our website for the best rates and availability. We also partner with select booking platforms, but direct booking ensures priority access to our cabins and special offers.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made at least 30 days before arrival receive a full refund. Within 30 days, the reservation is non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance for added peace of mind.

Q: Do you require a minimum stay?
A: Yes, typically a 2-night minimum, with longer minimums during peak holiday weekends.

Arrival & Check-In

Q: What time is check-in/check-out?
A: Check-in is after 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. 

Q: How do I check in?
A: We’ll send you a personalized pre-arrival message with directions and your cabin access code. We live on-site and are happy to greet you personally if you’d like.

Cabins & Amenities

Q: Do the cabins have hot tubs?
A: Yes! Each cabin has its own private, wood-fired hot tub. We provide instructions and wood to get it steaming. (Tip: ask us to help you light it—we love getting them started for our guests.)

Q: Are there cold-plunge tubs and a sauna?
A: Yes, we have a communal cedar sauna and cold-plunge tubs next to the sauna—perfect for a reset after exploring.

Q: Is there Wi-Fi?
A: Yes, we provide complimentary super fast fiber Wi-Fi. That said, many guests love disconnecting and embracing Island Park’s wild setting.

Q: Do cabins have kitchens?
A: Each cabin has a well-equipped full kitchen with all the essentials for preparing  meals. We also provide coffee, filters and basic spices.

Pets & Families

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes, we welcome well-behaved dogs (1 per cabin) with a pet fee ($120 flat). For everyone’s comfort, dogs cannot be left unattended in the cabins. We’re happy to recommend local daycare options if needed.

Q: Is Yellowstone Peaks family-friendly?
A: Absolutely! We’re a family-built and family-run hotel, and kids love fishing in the stocked pond, roasting s’mores, and exploring nearby trails. Cribs and highchairs are available upon request.

Location & Experiences

Q: How far are you from Yellowstone National Park?
A: We’re about 30–35 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. Many guests love that our location offers both easy access to the park and peaceful seclusion away from the crowds.

Q: What can we do in Island Park?
A: Beyond Yellowstone, Island Park is an outdoor paradise! You can fish Henry’s Fork, go horseback riding, hike scenic trails, book fly-fishing trips with our partners, or join our pizza nights and community events on property.

Q: Do you host events or large groups?
A: Yes, we welcome small groups and intimate gatherings. Please reach out to discuss group bookings and events.

Q: Do you allow smoking?
A: All cabins are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.
